The Watercolours of Car Richardson

Discover the wonderful watercolours of local artist Car Richardson, who lived in Chesham Bois. This exhibition, which features many previously unseen works, focuses on her paintings of local people, places and events from the end of WWI to the 1940s.

Make Your Own Memory Box

Walks of Amersham Old Town

Every Sunday, April to October, 2.30pm, £3 per person, children free   A walk around Old Amersham viewing the old buildings which make Old Amersham unique. The talk explains the history of the town and covers the High Street and Broadway plus St. Mary’s church, School Close and Mill Lane and the Platt and Whielden Street. 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

Amersham Museum runs a monthly reminiscence group where we share our stories and memories from the past. These sessions are both stimulating and fun and give us the opportunity to meet new people. The sessions cost £2 per person and last for around an hour and always include tea, coffee and biscuits. Opening Up Hamlet – Chiltern Club of Arts/Literature

In 2018, the museum is open from 10th February, every Wednesday to Sunday (and Bank Holiday Mondays) from 12 noon to 4.30pm.
We are open throughout the week for groups, schools, workshops and special events.
