Sour Cherry Soup

June 9 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Sour Cherry Soup is a one-woman show that tells the story of the changing landscapes and populations of the Chilterns through its cherry-growing tradition.

It shows us how the history of cherries is also the history of southern England, reflecting the richness of the landscape, past, present and future.

Written by playwright Sara Clifford for the Chalk, Cherries and Chairs Landscape Partnership Scheme, the show has been inspired real stories of Chilterns people, gathered by Sara at creative workshops and discussions with community groups across the Chilterns.

The length of the performance is 45 minutes.
