 Brian Brown

Brian_BrownBrian’s family came to Amersham when he was three and he went to Black Horse Bridge School. He tells of work as a delivery boy and helping his father work on sewers for Metropolitan Railway Country Estates. After Navy service, he qualified as a bricklayer and was involved in a variety of projects. He is now Chairman of the local Royal Naval Association.

 Ron Haddock

RH_ShopRon Haddock lived and worked around Amersham all his life. He was a dispenser at Kennards Chemists shop before opening his own photography business. Latterly he owned and ran local film company, Chess Valley Films.

OPENING TIMES
In 2018, the museum is open from 10th February, every Wednesday to Sunday (and Bank Holiday Mondays) from 12 noon to 4.30pm.
We are open throughout the week for groups, schools, workshops and special events.
