Our Museum is home to the history of Amersham told through the artefacts we have collected and through the stories of the people who have lived here and in the surrounding area. Our story continues and you can be an important part of our future.

Did you know that Amersham Museum does not receive any government funding? Instead, we rely on the generosity of people like you who make donations to us.

We are a volunteer led Museum with just three part-time paid staff members. This makes an enormous impact on keeping our day to day costs down. However, it still costs £75,000 a year to run the Museum and that is before beginning to realise any of our many ambitions for improvement and development.

There are a number of ways in which you can support the Museum. You can:

Any donation you make will make a big difference to our Museum – thank you.
