Amersham at War and Car Richardson’s People of WWI

November 7, 2018 - March 31, 2019

This exhibition explores what it was like to live in Amersham during WWI; the experiences of the women and children left behind as well as those who passed through the town. Learn about the people who returned to Amersham from the Front and the commemoration of war in the town.   The exhibition will be complemented by the display of the drawings of local artist Car Richardson, of recuperating WWI soldiers.
