Chiltern Makers’ Hub at Amersham Museum
Professional makers! Our monthly hub to network and socialise at Amersham Museum is now up and running. It is a great opportunity to meet and connect with Makers in the local area as well as an opportunity to find out about potential projects and collaborations, and enjoy “behind the scenes” access to museums.
We meet monthly on a Wednesday evening, with each session dedicated to a specific topic of interest to Makers.
Register below to join the hub by providing your details and some background information on yourself.
The sessions will be held in the Museum’s Woodcock Room on the first floor. It is served by a platform lift as well as stairs. More information about building access is given here. If you have any queries or requirements, please do not hesitate to get in touch on 01494 723700 or [email protected]

Chiltern Makers’ Hub Application
The Makers’ Hub has had seed funding from Chalk, Cherries and Chairs (CCC), an ambitious Landscape Partnership that aims to connect local people to the wildlife and cultural heritage of the Central Chilterns. Amersham Museum has been closely involved with Chalk, Cherries and Chairs since its inception, and is keen to support the legacy in particular of its Woodlanders’ Lives and Landscapes project, with its focus on Chilterns crafts and makers. Find out more about CCC’s work with heritage Chilterns crafts at www.chilterns.org.uk/Woodlanders. CCC is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund with match funding from a range of sources including the HS2 Community & Environment Fund, and is hosted by the Chilterns National Landscape.

“Enjoyable film and television location guided walk around Amersham hosted by Amersham Museum – here are the Sun Houses on Highover Park and further up the hill is High & Over.”
