We’re taking part in Give Local until 22 November 2026, and your support could go twice as far.

Thanks to match-funding from Heart of Bucks, every pound we raise up to £5,000 will be matched. We’re specifically raising funds to support the running costs of Anthony our Mobile Museum. Our team take Anthony to over 30 community events each year from primary schools to residential homes, and village fetes to Christmas fairs. For each event we take specially selected resources including handling objects, craft activities and displays that introduce local history in an interactive enjoyable way.

Through Anthony, the museum reaches out to a broad range of people who may have never visited the museum itself, taking their history into the community and removing barriers to their exploration and enjoyment of local heritage.

Each year the museum has to find the funding for MOT, fuel and servicing costs, as well as any maintenance, alongside the costs of creating new activities, displays and resources.
