| About this object | Ursula, the matriarch of the Duparc family, came from a wealthy and established family of timber merchants and importers, the Bambergers. She was accustomed to fine fashion and haute couture. Throughout her life she wore a range of fashionable dresses and styles. She varied her clothing, accessories, makeup and hair enormously over her lifetime to match current trends, to the extent that sometimes it can be hard to identify her in photographs. |
