Now that our wonderful new director – Emma Large  – and producer – Matthew Appleby – have been appointed, the Martyrs of Amersham Community Play is seeking volunteers to join the company in the roles of:

  • stage manager
  • company manager
  • lighting director
  • 2nd assistant director

If you might be interested in taking on one of these roles, follow the link to find job descriptions. Please fill out this form to express an interest.

We are also interested in finding young people in school or college who might be interested in shadowing these roles while learning the ropes, or take on the role of 2nd Assistant Director, while learning the ropes.

The Martyrs of Amersham Community Play will have its next performance in St Mary’s Church,  Amersham in March 2027. The play, which will bring together around 150 members of the community in an immersive promenade performance, is a unique re-telling of a time in Amersham’s history that would mark the town forever.
