Art Workshop with Fiona Ryan-Watson

Our craft workshops form part of the events programme linked to our Land Marks exhibition. Thanks to the Marie-Louise von Motesiczky Charitable Trust for enabling us to offer these sessions at subsidised rates.
As part of our Land Marks Exhibition, we are offering a fun Art Workshop for Children celebrating the modern architecture of Amersham (the ‘Sun Houses’ designed by Connell and Ward in the 1930’s). We will be inspired by Fiona Ryan-Watson’s painting “Amersham Rising” which will be on display as part of this Exhibition.
We will be using ‘magic sprinkle dust’ (brusho) to create a vibrant background and then designing a funky modern building to sit in the centre of the piece. Each child will create their very own artwork to bring home. This workshop will be led by local artist Fiona Ryan-Watson.
For children 6-10 years old.
Please make sure you have checked details before ordering tickets. It is necessary for the museum to charge a cancellation fee of £1 to cover credit card and administration costs.
