Our museum has lots of family-friendly hands-on exhibitions and we encourage families to explore the galleries and object boxes and garden.
Tudor Gallery
Role play – upstairs in the Tudor Gallery you can role play at the banquet table and dress up like a Tudor
Trails – there is a Nature Trail around the museum and Town Trail. The stewards at the front desk are happy to help with them

Craft Cart – upstairs in the Time Travel Gallery there is a crat cart full of activities and resources to use. Get creative and make something inspired by your visit
Toys – in this room there are also some toy boxes ideal for toddlers to enjoy playing with.
Garden – please ask our friendly stewards for the Garden Toy Box. It’s full of traditional games and toys for you to enjoy.
