We’re excited to be launching our 2026 calendar specially for Heritage Day – be one of the first to get a copy for just £9.

Explore the town’s history on foot with a choice of guided walks. At 2.30pm a guided walk of the Old Town will leave the museum – pre-booking advised via our website: Or get a taste of Amersham’s rich Tudor history by joining our walk led by costumed guides at 12noon and 2.30pm – meet at St Mary’s Church porch.

Outside the museum, you can explore two fascinating vehicles – one is Anthony our mobile museum with its timeline display, and a selection of heritage items on sale. The other – for one day only – is a milk delivery tricycle owned by the Nash family from Hyde Heath!

And don’t miss the Mummers’ Play being performed just outside the museum at 12noon and 2pm.

We look forward to seeing you!
