We’re looking for new trustees, as three of our existing board members come to the end of their maximum 9 years on the committee. If you’re interested in helping to set the Museum’s strategic direction, overseeing its performance and contributing to its success, why not consider this highly rewarding role? We are particularly looking for people with experience in Human Resources, fundraising and income generation, marketing and digital media communications, and property and buildings management. However, the most important asset is a commitment to the Museum and enthusiasm to get involved.

If you would like to arrange an informal discussion about the role, please email [email protected] Full details including the recruitment process are provided in the role description. The deadline is Monday 30 January 2023. We look forward to hearing from you!

“Visited Amersham museum yesterday – lovely place, provides many details on the history of the place. Plenty of cute cafes, pubs and shops around also… not difficult to find free parking nearby. ”

“A well-run, informative and interesting small museum on the main street. It’s mostly volunteer-run and they do a great job in keeping it and making you feel welcome…Check out the herb garden too.”

“Enjoyable film and television location guided walk around Amersham hosted by Amersham Museum – here are the Sun Houses on Highover Park and further up the hill is High & Over.”
