Thanks to funding from the Amersham and Villages Community Board, the Amersham Museum is now able to offer British Sign Language interpretation at two performances of the Amersham Martyrs Community Play on Friday 18 and Friday 25 March 2022.

Our Co-Directors Sally Alford and Stan Pretty have always wanted this production to be as inclusive as possible.

Sally, a patron of The Theatre Shed in Chesham says: ‘As someone passionate about Inclusive drama, I am thrilled that we have a sign language interpreter signing two performances for us on 18th & 25th March. This makes our performances more accessible to folk in our community, which is important to us.’

“A well-run, informative and interesting small museum on the main street. It’s mostly volunteer-run and they do a great job in keeping it and making you feel welcome…Check out the herb garden too.”

“Enjoyable film and television location guided walk around Amersham hosted by Amersham Museum – here are the Sun Houses on Highover Park and further up the hill is High & Over.”
