At Amersham Museum we are looking for two enthusiastic, capable and committed individuals to join our Trust Board. A voluntary role with a time commitment of around one or two days per month, being a Trustee offers a rewarding opportunity to be closely involved with the preservation and development of local history as part of an enthusiastic team. We are particularly looking to build skills in HR, fundraising or buildings management, but welcome applications from across our local community and encourage anyone with an interest in the museum’s work to make contact. Please check out more details here or contact [email protected] if you would like to discuss the role in more detail.

The deadline for applications is Friday 21 March 2025.

“Visited Amersham museum yesterday – lovely place, provides many details on the history of the place. Plenty of cute cafes, pubs and shops around also… not difficult to find free parking nearby. ”

“A well-run, informative and interesting small museum on the main street. It’s mostly volunteer-run and they do a great job in keeping it and making you feel welcome…Check out the herb garden too.”

“Enjoyable film and television location guided walk around Amersham hosted by Amersham Museum – here are the Sun Houses on Highover Park and further up the hill is High & Over.”
