Drawn into Nature with Wild Amersham

Teen and Adult Art Workshop ages 12+
£10 per person (Max 10)
Local nature art makers Marieke Bosman and Adrian Porter will guide you to spend time in the Museum Garden to see how nature draws your attention. Looking closely at that tree, flower, insect, or bird to get a really good sense of it and create an artistic response. It might be sketching, painting, or writing – it’s up to you. Marieke and Adrian will share some simple techniques to get you started. By immersing yourself in the garden and in nature, you can create a personal record of your experience.
Aimed at teens and adults, aged 12+. No particular experience of (or talent for) drawing, writing or painting required. You are welcome to bring your own materials, but we will also provide art materials for you to use.
In co-operation with Wild Amersham.

“A well-run, informative and interesting small museum on the main street. It’s mostly volunteer-run and they do a great job in keeping it and making you feel welcome…Check out the herb garden too.”
“Enjoyable film and television location guided walk around Amersham hosted by Amersham Museum – here are the Sun Houses on Highover Park and further up the hill is High & Over.”
