Midsomer Murders & More is a five-mile circular guided walk, starting and finishing at Amersham Station, in which you will learn about:

• The earliest film – a silent comedy – made in the town in 1919
• The first and numerous other episodes of Midsomer Murders
• A 1960s Miss Marple film Murder at the Gallop
• A 1960s comedy about a real-life World War II hero, Passport of Courage
• The Oscar nominated Four Weddings and a Funeral
• Filming of My Cousin Rachel
• Numerous TV programmes including New Tricks, The Professionals, Young Morse, Line of Beauty
• The idyllic setting for Midwich Cuckoos
• Filming at Amersham’s modernist house High & Over
• Amersham’s earliest cinema

The route includes a short excursion into the meadow along the River Misbourne.
