Coldmoreham House (top left) has an 18th casing on an earlier farmhouse. It is listed grade II. In the 19th and early 20th centuries, it was occupied by the bailiffs for the Tyrwhitt-Drake estate (see an article from someone alive in those days). It is said that Ian Fleming used the farmhouse to train men for Commando operations in World War 2.
Behind the house is Coldmoreham Yard, where several barns were converted into houses in 1987 and 1988. The kennels for the local hunt were here (see below) and later the Brazil family kept their horses here.
